Avocado Varieties

Avocado

Hass

A hybrid between Guatemala and Mexico. It is the most popular variety worldwide. It produces medium-sized fruits (200-300 gr.), with a dark green rough skin, which turns dark brown-purple when ripe. The fruits are considered ripe when they have at least 21% dry matter content. It dominates international markets and has a long shelf life after harvest.
